Project description: Flip-EC focuses on empowering a wide range of public building users to adopt more energy-conscious habits in everyday activities. Flip-EC will deliver key outputs in three phases: preparation, piloting, and transfer. These include developing participatory governance models, stakeholder engagement strategies, and a framework for monitoring energy savings, and social impact. In the piloting phase, the project will test and refine solutions in real-world settings. The final phase will establish a digital platform for learning and resources, alongside Train-the-Trainer workshops for broader replication.
Key Activities of ISD within the Project:
- Developing educational materials for schools and local administrations, along with examples of best practices
- Assessing pilot activities related to educational methods
- Supporting knowledge transfer and leveraging educational networks to disseminate project results
- Designing participatory workshop formats to foster collaboration between building users and local administrations
